Overview

As part of a branding course in 2016, I worked on designing a logo for Round House Adventures, a new travel company. The project focused on applying brand identity principles to create a logo that reflects the company’s commitment to responsible and sustainable tourism.

Approach

Round House Adventures offers small group tours and custom itineraries that emphasize ethical travel and exploration off the beaten path.

I designed a logo inspired by the natural patterns found in tree rings to symbolize growth, sustainability, and respect for nature while reinforcing the brand’s connection to mindful travel.

Round House Adventures is a unique travel agency that offers sustainable tourism for the modern-day explorer. They provide small group tours and customized itineraries, travelling to exciting and less tourist destinations to experience life off the beaten path. Various methods of exploration includes travelling by sailing boat, on bicycles, in kayaks, in small private land vehicles and on foot.

To reflect the unique exploration that Round House Adventure offers, I designed the logo to reflect the company's dedication towards ethical practices within the travel and tourism industry by taking on the natural patterns of a log's tree rings.
